This Privacy Policy explains how Hans Suhr, REALTOR® (RE/MAX Anchor Realty) collects, uses, and protects personal information gathered through the Nanaimo Local Guides website.
What we collect
When you use the Weekend Planner and claim your plan, we collect: your first and last name, email address, mobile phone number, and the preferences you shared during the quiz (neighbourhood, group type, budget, vibes, dietary preferences). We also collect the date and time of submission.
How we use it
We use your contact information solely to: (1) send you the personalized Nanaimo weekend plan you requested, and (2) send occasional local tips and real estate market updates relevant to the Nanaimo and Central Vancouver Island area — but only if you checked the consent box at the time of submission.
Your information is stored in Hans Suhr's client relationship management system (CINC). It is never sold, rented, or shared with third parties for their marketing purposes.
CASL compliance
We comply with Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL). You will only receive marketing messages if you provided express consent. Every message includes a working unsubscribe option.
PIPEDA compliance
We comply with the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA). You have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of your personal information at any time by contacting us.
